Anthony Standifer commits to Michigan

The Wolverines picked up number 14 Wednesday evening in S/CB Anthony Standifer from Crete Monee HS  in Crete, IL. Standifer was a late blossoming prospect that Michigan got in early on. The Wolverines were his first legit BCS offer. Once Michigan offered, schools like Iowa and Notre Dame followed suit.

He will be one of the lesser known recruits in this class since he raised his status in summer camps. He turned down ND and Iowa, and could have held out for even bigger offers.  He obviously saw the spots available drying up, and decided to get on board.

There are limited spots for DBs in this class(I anticipate writing a very similar post tomorrow for a DB from Brooklyn) so this is a high upside/sleeper recruit based on the class so far.

Congrats Anthony, and Go Blue!
