Michigan is still hot on the recruiting trail as we approach the middle of June. The Wolverines picked up two commitments this afternoon. The first of which is OH DE Tom Strobel. Strobel is 6’6’’ 250 lbs and hails from Mentor, OH. He has the size to potentially move to DT down the road.
Strobel is a 4-star, top 250 player to both Scout and Rivals. This is backed up by his offer list. He chose Michigan over schools like Nebraska, Stanford, and Ohio State. He joins a crowded DL class, with Ojemudia, Godin, and Pharaoh Brown. That should attest to how highly the coaches think of him. Also, thanks Ohio State for basically delivering him up to AA. Hopefully the coaches can secure some top-flight offensive linemen for these guys to practice against. (This is called foreshadowing)
